ALICIA M. SULLIVAN, a life-long native New Mexican from Albuquerque, is the Co-Owner and a Licensed New Mexico Associate Broker, with 18+ years of property management experience. She has also had 23+ years of Motherhood experience, resulting in four adult children and two grandchildren. Alicia is very hands on and is very rarely behind her desk. Because Alicia is “out and about”, she has first hand knowledge of our clients’ properties and is constantly checking and visiting properties throughout the day. Besides inspections, she may be on property with a visiting client, or with a prospective client evaluating their property or talking to subcontractors and vendors that are required to keep the property in the best shape possible. Alicia is also the one to deal with the Housing Authorities, our clients’ insurance companies, the local Fire and Police Departments or the Mayor’s office. She is a familiar face at the Courthouse, where she represents our clients in resolving tenant issues.
Alicia is the first to admit that she is not a morning person, but she starts early and can definitely be found on the phone late into the evening. Alicia says she is never bored and can’t imagine herself always behind a desk. Alicia is very knowledgeable about all aspects of our properties including the building codes, the neighborhood, carpets, windows, roofs, concrete and even septic tanks! Alicia is always shopping for the best, quality deal for our clients and she will be there to make sure they get what they are paying for.
Being an investor herself, Alicia completely understands how the numbers of investing must work.
Alicia believes that it is paramount that she bases her decisions on what is good for our clients, tenants and the community.
GRACE E. CUMMINS, is Sky Management’s Qualifying Broker and Co-Owner with 9+ years experience in property management. Grace hails from Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University with a Teaching Degree. She became a Licensed New Mexico Real Estate Broker and Qualifying Broker after careers as an ATF Agent, Picture Framer, Clothing Manufacturer and Tax Preparer. Grace is an avid golfer and sports fan, so besides those few moments she takes to play golf or go to a University of New Mexico Basketball game, she is in the office directing the daily operations of Sky Management.
Since our inception, Grace has computerized all of our business, owner and tenant records and she supervises the Accounting Department and our Account Representatives. Her BIG job is ensuring that our owners receive the monthly and annual statements on time and that they are concise and understandable. Since many of our owners are from out of state, Grace makes sure that the owners are receiving their payments and that their statements are accurate and reflect the monthly expenses.
Grace sees her and Alicia’s jobs as totally opposite, in that Alicia is “getting the trenches dug and Grace is in the trenches”! But they both absolutely share the belief that they go to bat for everyone and this belief applies to every one of our 425+ properties and their owners. Grace is TAKIN’ CARE OF BUSINESS, but always puts our personal relationship with the owners first.
